Body-After-Baby...

I have joined the Body after Baby Challenge over at http://www.mamanotes.com/2009/09/body-after-baby-week-one.htmo l. It's a 8 week program to help jump start your weight loss. My goal is to loose 10-15 pounds during this challenge. More pounds shed would be welcome of course. So every week I will be posting what we are doing over there and to help keep myself on track. At the end of this challenge we will having a contest to see who won. YES, there are prizes at the end. One of the ways to win is to have blog readers go over and vote for you. Our challenge this week is to drink more water. I'm already a water drinker, but I'm trying to take it to the next level. It's to late to join in on the actual challenge, but you can always go over to Mama's Notes every Tuesday and check it out. You can always work on the program on your own. Wish me luck!

We think we have finally figured out what is wrong with Aubrey. After eliminating a lot from her diet, we think she is lactose intolerant. It's something that she can easily grow out of and we are hoping she will. After having one child with a milk allergy this seems like a piece of cake. I took her into the Dr. yesterday for another check up and my little girl is finally up to 16 pounds and 4 ounces. HOORAY! She is starting to look like she is filling out because she is so short. She is 26 1/2 inches long. Someday she will get taller. =) Her doctor is sending her in to have a Echo on Thursday this week just to double check her hear murmur. I have a lot of faith that everything will turn out just fine. Better to be safe than sorry later that we didn't do it while she was this young! Her is a couple of pictures of my growing beauty!

Will Work For Dirt.....

While enjoying the evening outside, I was pulling the weeds and the kids were playing in the grass. Aubrey decided to join in on the fun. She enjoys pulling herself up on everything now. Once she had pulled herself up she started pulling at the weeds to. My husband grabbed the camera and started taking her picture. Once she had her fill of pulling weeds she decided that she would just test out the dirt for herself. She is already a good little helper!

Don't you love her gardening attire? See her little pile of weeds! HEHE Mommy trying to clean out the dirt.

Preschool Crafts...

Today I picked Lukas up from preschool and he had made this Fantastic necklace. As we were walking home and it was making all kinds of noise, I asked him all about it. This is what he had to say.
Mommy-"I love your necklace. Did you make it by yourself?"
Lukas-"Yes mom."
Mommy-"What is it made of?"
Lukas-"Those thingies that come off of beer cans. Someone had to drink a lot of beer so I could have all of these."

So Proud of his BEER tab necklace!

This is Aubrey's Opinion...

Okay I lovvve this picture. It makes me laugh whenever I look at it. Aubrey normally never gets this mad. Well unless she is starving and you are NOT making her bottle fast enough. Right now my poor little girl has been having the "D" word for 11 days straight. UGH! Let me tell you I make this same face everyday I have to change another diaper. Our Doctor is unsure of what it going on with her. She has no other symptoms. So we have started to feed her cheese, by doctor orders and that hasn't seemed to help. We have also started to eliminate things from her diet. NO wheat and NO fruit. Wish us luck that this will end soon or next time you see my daughter she maybe turning a slight shade of orange from all the carrots she has been eating. =)

What A Day.....

My son Lukas started Preschool recently. He was so excited to finally have his turn to go to school. It was also Lukas's Birthday Snack day at school, so that only made his day more special. Once we got to the school Lukas took off his bag and set it up on the counter and ran straight for the fort. As soon as he got to the top he started to bang on his chest and yell out just like King Kong. All I could think about was what was going through all the other mom's minds when they seen my wild child up there. You know secretly they were all thinking that he would be the wild kid in class! That's my kid =) Lukas and Mommy

1st Grade Here I Come....

My oldest son has started 1st grade. It's so hard to think that he is already old enough to be going to school let alone 1st grade. When buying school supplies this year all he really wanted was a messenger bag. (A Backpack with only 1 strap) After shopping around and taking pictures with my phone he finally agreed to this camo one. He sure looked cute with it on. So far his year is going great and he likes his new teacher. With only 14 kids in his class I can't complain.
Had to wear a new Clone Wars shirt on the 1st day
Lukas had to wear his shirt for Jaren's first day to.

Doesn't he look so grown up?

The Annual Miller Camping Trip

This post is a little late, but we just downloaded the pictures from the camping trip. My husbands family goes to Honeyman State Park every year for a camp out. I came down with the flu the day before we were suppose to leave. So this year Aubrey and I stayed home and the boys went on their first Man Trip to join the family. The boys were so excited to go camping and the thought of it being called a, Man Trip thrilled them even more. The three of them had a wonderful time. Justin made good food and them made smores and they even went on a ride on the sand dunes. We look forward to next year when we can take Aubrey and the boys can introduce her to Honeyman. As far as a, Man Trip I think the three of them will take an annual camping trip somewhere. One very excited camper!

Yes, they do really love each other!

Lukas Says...

My poor poor little boy. This morning Lukas came up to me and told me this.

Lukas- "Mommy, I have a really bad headache and a belly ache."

Mommy- "I'm sorry buddy. Do you need to lay down for a little bit."

Lukas-"I think I need to cuddle up in your bed mom."

Mommy- "That's fine. Let me tuck you in."

Lukas- "I think I will also need lunch brought to me on a sick tray. That way I can eat in your bed."

Mommy- "I think you can get down here at the table."

As we headed up the stairs he started to moan.

Mommy- "What's wrong."

Lukas- "My foot hurts so bad. I wish the headache would go away in my foot."

Mommy- "What. I thought your head hurt."

Lukas-"I never said that. My headache is in my foot."

This time pointing at the other foot. ;)

Mommy-"Well do you still need to cuddle in my bed?"

Lukas- "Yes, until my headache goes away."

So, as right now I still have a very sick boy with a foot ache or I mean headache. ;)

Overheard From The Drivers Seat....

This morning I had just picked up our neighbor kid and was starting to back out of their driveway when this conversation was brought up. Remember that they are only 6 years old.I was laughing so hard I had to put the car back into park until I could stop. When the kid sat down and started buckling up this is what he said to Jaren.
Kid- "Holy Lord of all Gods Jaren. Your legs are really hairy!"
Jaren-"I know, (KID) I'm a gorilla. That is why I'm so hairy."
Kid-"I don't have any hair on my legs. Why are you so hairy?"
Jaren-"I don't know, I just am."
Laughing from everyone in the car.
Jaren-"Look, (KID) even my arms are hairy. See."
Kid-"I hope I'm never that hairy."

Oh I can already tell this is going to be a fun carpool year. I just wonder what the two of them talk about in my neighbors car?
